BABY GRAND PIANO - Used? Upright piano - New? What model to Buy? ...and Which maker?
There are many questions asked about which is the Best piano -Yamaha or Kawai ?
Sales people know full well, there's no way they can actually convince a buyer that either is better than the other.
Quality products, the fully Japanese made, authentic Yamaha and Kawai models; Two great names ... these dedicated Piano makers delivering well respected instruments and both competing for Top billing. Truth is that for most musicians/piano buyers, the Japanese products' built-in-reliability is pretty much a foregone conclusion.
So there 'tis... and to Messrs YAMAHA and KAWAI :
"Having played for more than half a century allow me to sincerely compliment you both for the fine products you have given the world."
Yes folks, your OzPianoman supports them both. . . Kawai and Yamaha equally.
For these brands, Good Used Pianos (recent models) have long had my vote as the most sensible way to go...
Things do change however.
For example; If you'd prefer a NEW upright piano, why not chat to me about the well known Kawai K25 model ? You might be well advised to give this one serious consideration instead of buying a USED Japanese piano at around the same price.
Over the years I have helped numerous buyers to save $$$ on these and other new Kawai pianos.
Same goes for Yamaha pianos ...We have a bit of influence with certain Piano Industry members.

World's Best Piano ? Bosendorfer ( Boesendorfer ) Pianos
With good reason, Australia's Piano Advisory is proud to have been asked to feature TWO Bosendorfer pianos among our selected instruments for Private Sale.
Limited availability here in Australia, expensive ... and with ownership being just a dream for most players, few owners will ever willingly part with their beloved Bosendorfer.
Such instruments are justifiably among the most expensive pianos made and opportunities to purchase secondhand, either Upright or Grand, are rarely found.
We have one of each for you to consider...
Deceased Estate : These fine pianos were both purchased New in the early 1980's for an older music teacher who tutored a handful of students. Some were permitted to use the upright model - whilst the Grand remained the teacher's alone to play.
Located in Adelaide, South Australia, the executor has provided some preliminary photographs for you to peruse and these may be seen at bosendorfer-piano-pics
(According to a recently published US price list, replacement value for the two now exceeds AUD $140K)
Purchase both pianos for well below half new price, or separate offers for either invited from genuine piano buyers.
Further information, including price suggestions & contact details for the executor may be obtained from your OzPianoman - Colin on (03) 9783 6439
